Corpus Christi armadillo control

We are experts in armadillo control, but are not your typical Corpus Christi, Texas animal removal company. We do not use poisons or repellents, since no bait works on armadillos, and poison is inhumane. In our armadillo removal process, we trap and relocate the animals. Since armadillos do not respond to bait, the key to permanent armadillo removal is to know exactly what type of trap to use and where to use it — a process that takes experience, which we have practiced and perfected over the years. We completely solve your armadillo problem by taking these steps:

  • Inspect the entire property grounds - lawn, yard, garden, etc.
  • Set several humane traps on your property - the correct and safe way!
  • Remove all armadillos as they are caught and monitor for activity
  • Once there is no more activity and no more armadillos caught, we're done
  • When needed, fill in burrows and seal with underground fencing

Southern burrowing animals - There are many animals in the south that are inclined to burrow. Some of them are more frequent pests than others. The armadillo is one of the most common burrowing nuisance animals. It loves the soft soil of a maintained yard, and a healthy property often has a nice abundance of worms and grubs. Other burrowing animals include the groundhog, or woodchuck, will live in the yard just because it provides a good area of shelter away from predators and the weather. Nutria, rodents of medium build, will not often live near homes unless there is a swamp or abundant water supply. Nutria like to feed on the grasses that grow in a marsh and they often live in burrows inside the banks of waterways. Snakes, while not inclined to create their own burrows, will oust animals currently living in burrows and take over the den. The holes that a snake requires are significantly smaller than those of burrowing mammals and rodents. Chipmunks are commonly thought to live in trees but this is not accurate. The chipmunk lives in the ground, transporting dirt within its cheek pouches while creating tunnels. Again, chipmunk holes are small enough to rarely be a cause for concern. Moles and voles will create small tunnels, but these will be much more annoying as they will be in the upper layers of your soil. Lastly, rabbits will burrow and create a warren, but they are not as intrusive tunnel-wise as other animals.

We do not do traditional Corpus Christi pest control for armadillos, nor Corpus Christi exterminator services. We are a humane wildlife-only specialists, and we focus on burrowing animals.
