What is the best bait to trap a armadillo? - There is a very important secret when it comes to baiting an armadillo trap; a secret not many people are privy to. Armadillos do not fall for bait. The fact is, if they don't get do dig their food out of the ground and eat it alive and wriggling, they have no interest in eating it at all. That's right, even if you put a heaping pile of nightcrawlers on the inside of a cage trap, an armadillo won't be tempted.
