Do armadillos make good pets? - Any animal has the potential to be a pet, but that doesn't mean all animals are suited for such a life. This is definitely the case when it comes to armadillos. Though cute and very unique when it comes to appearance, these animals have some serious environmental needs that will be difficult to maintain in captivity. First, armadillos don't like to scavenge.
