Little Rock armadillo control

We are experts in armadillo control, but are not your typical Little Rock, Arkansas animal removal company. We do not use poisons or repellents, since no bait works on armadillos, and poison is inhumane. In our armadillo removal process, we trap and relocate the animals. Since armadillos do not respond to bait, the key to permanent armadillo removal is to know exactly what type of trap to use and where to use it — a process that takes experience, which we have practiced and perfected over the years. We completely solve your armadillo problem by taking these steps:

  • Inspect the entire property grounds - lawn, yard, garden, etc.
  • Set several humane traps on your property - the correct and safe way!
  • Remove all armadillos as they are caught and monitor for activity
  • Once there is no more activity and no more armadillos caught, we're done
  • When needed, fill in burrows and seal with underground fencing

Armadillo deterrents - People like to think that putting out mothballs or owl statues, or spraying coyote urine around their property will keep nuisance animals away. The public is so enthralled with the idea, corporations make millions of dollars a year selling bogus products to people for use at home. There are no chemical deterrents on the market for armadillos, and anything you've heard about mothballs or human hair are not true. The only good deterrent is a fence. This fence doesn't have to be anything fancy, or even very tall, but it does need to extend into the ground half a foot to prevent the armadillo from tunneling underneath it. Unfortunately, the things that make your yard healthy by promoting aeration—like grubs and worms—are the very thing that an armadillo is after. There is very little that can be done, short of constant patrol and upkeep, to keep these creatures at bat. Once you have an armadillo, the only option is to trap the animal and relocate it at least five miles away from the property. While they do not have a super-strong homing sense, the armadillo will still return to your property if you don't deposit it far enough away.

We do not do traditional Little Rock pest control for armadillos, nor Little Rock exterminator services. We are a humane wildlife-only specialists, and we focus on burrowing animals.
